Background

Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy is based on the philosophy of the energy of yoga:

Thai Yoga Prana, the universal life energy, nourishes and controls every living creature. Body, mind and feelings are in harmony when Prana is flowing naturally and harmoniously. Energy paths are embedded like streams and rivers into the landscape of the body. They must be open and free so that Prana can flow. Thai Yoga is an effective method in reactivating the flow of energy, when the universal life energy it is blocked or in stagnation.

Thai Yoga On a humorous note, Thai Yoga Therapy is also called “yoga for lazy people”, as the Thai Yoga practitioner is moving the client into yoga positions, and the client has to do nothing.

Thai Yoga Therapy is a holistic and sensitive treatment: Physically it comprises treatment of the whole body, and mentally or energetically the practitioner is working with particular accuracy and care. This intensive combination makes Thai Yoga a powerful instrument to become fit or remain well. With special yoga practices and meditations throughout the training, we aim at achieving an optimal attitude for the practitioner.

Results of the holistic treatment are a deep relaxation and energetic balance of the entire human organism. Traditional Thai Yoga Therapy fundamentally enhances the physical wellbeing and the body consciousness of the client.
