Lomi basic course

Background

Lomi Lomi is a kind of ritual combined with „bodywork“ and dance, which was once practiced at the temples in Hawai’i.
Lomi Lomi Nui is a special experience, its effect is a blessing. The recipient may experience dimensions, which became rare in the western world. During a lomi lomi treatment tensions dissolve. It can enable the wounds from the past to heal in a wonderful way.

Both, treatment techniques taken from the Hawai’ian doctrine of elements, and stretching and treatments of joints are applied. Foundational principles of this treatment are from the Huna philosophy, which is a traditional, shamanic, natural philosophy taught in Hawai’i.

Spiritually, the lomi lomi massage is a ritual. It celebrates the unique beauty of the moment. The lomi lomi ritual aims at supporting and manifesting the loving energy that is always present in the human being.

 

Freedom, love, change, being ok and feeling accepted are creative spiritual energies. These energies are channelled, evoked and can be experienced during a lomi lomi treatment. It is supported by the rhythms of Hawaiian music and the soulfulness, for which the Hawaiian lifestyle is known.

Every basic course is a self-contained process. For a beginner, the Lomi Lomi Nui Practitioner training can be started at any desired basic class.

Lomi – BasiskursVisiting another basic course will continue the training. The experience gained in the former course combines with the experience gained by the composition of a group of different participants. These create a space for new experiences as well as a new quality and intensity of practice. It is possible to book a specific course according to personal preference as an alternative to taking one or two basic courses.

Depending on the awareness of the practitioner, Lomi Lomi may well be practiced after the first basic course.
